Medical Clinic for Akim Kwameng

Over the Christmas seasons of 2017 and 2018, First Baptist Church of Elgin raised over $25,000 to give the gift of a medical clinic to the people of Akim Kwameng.

Maternity Ward in Akim Kwameng

In the winter and spring of 2019, the students at Sycamore Trails Elementary School in Bartlett, Illinois decided to take up the cause to build the medical clinic as a gift to the community of Akim Kwameng.

Love and Care Orphanage

Construction began at the end of 2013 and was completed by the end of 2014. Since that time, the orphanage has grown to care for 15 children.

Abbakrama Church

The team went back to First Baptist and the church raised $12,000 to build a new church. Not only that, they sent a team of workers in December of 2012 to build the church alongside Ghanaian laborers and members of the church.
